Phantom of the Paradise | 11x17 Art Print
Brian De Palma's 1974 "Phantom of the Paradise" is a long-time source of inspiration for me. It's a perfect film, from the choice of leads, to its criticism of the merging of art and commerce, to the music by Paul Williams. Despite becoming a murderer, the Phantom is an innocent in the game ... I tried to present that feeling of uncertainty and insignificance in this piece.
Note: I made this for a 50th anniversary screening of PHANTOM at the 2024 Sleepy Hollow International Film Festival.
