Dan Ackroyd is almost certainly responsible for those elements, though Harold Ramis and Ivan Reitman had a hand in keeping them from drawing the kind of attention that would transform a PG to an R rating. I'd be surprised if the average theatergoer even noticed that Vinz Clortho and Zuul opened the gate to Gozer's dimension by fucking on the rooftop of the Shandor Building.
