There are a lot of femmes fatale on Blue Oyster Cult's 1973 album Tyranny and Mutation. Though the lyrics might be cryptic, Teen Archer and Baby Ice Dog are both about dangerous ladies. It's fair to guess that the antagonists of 7 Screaming Diz-Busters might also be women, given the explanation of the song's lyrics by band members. And then there's the title character of Quicklime Girl (Mistress of the Salmon Salt) who nurtures her garden by fertilizing it corpses. This poster was inspired by the classic art nouveau posters associated with absinthe, the Quicklime Girl standing in for the traditional green fairy.
11" x 17" glossy text-weight paper.
